The second session of the Up, which took place this past week has been given by Sara Urena, psychologist CRIS (Centre for Rehabilitation and Social Integration) in Ontinyent. It was a very interesting session where we could see first hand the chronic mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, dysthymia, etc.. Also in Group B also had an impact on the theme of adolescence - drug use and schizophrenia. In short, a very successful session for all and that has opened our eyes about mental illness and resources available in case a family member or someone close to us can have any of these disorders.
In class next month develop a "Workshop on responsible consumption." The workshop will be held on December 14 for the two groups. I'll report it.

Next week, session 2 UP Up
Next week will be held the second session of the course. Will be on Tuesday 23 at 19:00 for group A and Wednesday 24 at the same time for the group B in the Computer Room CEIP Lluís Vives. As I said in the first class, this session will be taught by a psychologist at the CRIS ( Center for Rehabilitation and Social Integration ) of Ontinyent, who will speak the most common mental illness in childhood and adolescence as well as the resources available to address them. Taught in group A while in mid-session and group B the session is complete. Will also be given notes for this session. I wait for you all.

Today I have posted new images from the UP College are developing in the Virgen de la Familia de Lima (Peru) under our advice and coordination. I would like to congratulate you for the great work being done with parents of the center. As you can see in the pictures I post, the participation of mothers and parents is very high, which shows great commitment on the part of them.
I am very happy that this project is progressing steadily thanks to Carlos Baluarte and his team intact to maintain interest from the beginning. We will study the possibility of establishing contact this course on-line video conference between the University of Parents of Peru and the Bocairent.

Last week I participated in the training days of Specialized Services Guidance organized by the Valencia CEFIRE entitled "Obrim l'escola. I had the opportunity to present the project at the University of Parents face the audience that, indeed, were very interested in it.
addition, the conference featured speakers of great prestige as, for example, Teresa Gisbert, provincial chief prosecutor of Valencia, among others. They also presented a very interesting material and Dieste Ana Belén Giménez M ª Angeles, co-authored a guide to help parents to better educate.
Finally, a conference has been very interesting with great care. I am grateful to Vicente Palomar your invitation and interest to participate therein.
When I see so many people gathered to address these issues is when I really realized that "not all that bad or all is lost in education" because many people are worried (and busy) to make things better.
