April 14 made the second Plenary Session of the Sixth Congress of the Provincial Tourism Convention Center San Rafael.

The topic addressed was "Tourism Infrastructure and Signage Mendoza."

1. Agree on a common diagnosis on infrastructure needs for tourism development in the province.
2. Update the priority of claims of departmental and regional infrastructure.
3. Consensus on the need to establish a provincial system of tourist signs with homogeneous criteria.
The methodology chosen was the same as that of the first session, presentation of a specific subject and workshops, bringing together the congress as its area of \u200b\u200borigin and development agreements through consensus.
The presentations were made by technicians from the Ministry of Tourism of the Province, the Ministry of Tourism of the Nation and the Minister for Infrastructure, Housing and Transportation. Dr. Francisco Perez. Among the guests present were officials and technicians from the Provincial and National Roads. Seven
consensus agreement of all participants were of the workshops. The first has to do with the need to stipulate Mendoza and consolidate a Signaling System Tourist Guiding criteria at this point agreed 99% of the congress. The second is that the municipalities will be the recipients of the demand for tourist signs (89% agree). While the Tourism Signage System have to the Secretariat of Tourism of the Province as a linker between the claims taken over by the municipalities and executing agencies and donors, this third point was agreed by 93%. The fourth point states that the criteria agreed to take the province of Mendoza for tourist signs will be, "Associativity (89% agreement)-Thematic Map Membership (89% agreement)-Other criteria suggested: Regionalization, International Standard, Tradition -historia.Mientras the fifth agreement, with 98% of acceptance states that the Signaling System Tourist Commission will discuss and decide functions on the identification of tourist attractions in Mendoza. The last agreement was related to the formation of the Commission also Secretariat of Tourism of the Province, is the rest of the above were: Municipalities (51% agree), the Department of Heritage of the Province (34%), the Department of Transportation (49%) and Chambers and private (42 %). There remains the establishment of the operational committee.
Meanwhile, in the second session 3 operating agreements were achieved:
1 - Call open call for proposals for the design of the arches of the most important milestones in revenue to the province.
2 - consensual begin to eradicate the illegal signage.
3 - The Provincial Department of Transportation is committed to incorporating in the tender specifications placement route Tourist signage from this year.
